COVID Update

The Clubhouse is currently closed and (hopefully) we will be able to open again on Saturday 10th July 2021.

Golf continues and anyone wishing to book a game may do so on-line or by phoning the Pro-Shop on 4648 2387.

The Halfway House is open daily from 9am till 3pm (4pm if trade permits) for takeaway drinks and limited snack type food.

The administration office is accessible by phoning 4646 1203 between 9am and 4pm weekdays for general enquiries and for any members wishing to pay their fees and/or arrange collection of vouchers.

We look forward to welcoming our members and guests back to our Clubhouse as soon as it is safe to do so.

COVID Update – 9th July 2021

With the growing number of infectious cases of COVID-19 in the community and unlinked cases of community transmission restrictions will be tightened across Greater Sydney from 5pm today, 9th July.

Whilst golf is still considered exercise the following restrictions will apply to golfers:

  • Residents in greater Sydney must remain within their Camden LGA or 10km of their place of residence.
  • 2 players per group.
  • 1 person per cart.
  • 1 cart per group.

The NSW Government have made it a compulsory requirement for all hospitality venues to use the Service NSW QR code system.

Camden Golf Club have implemented the following measures:

If you have the Service NSW App…

  1. Scan the QR code with your phone camera – the app’s check-in page will automatically open.
  2. Enter your contact details.
  3. Add dependents (if applicable).
  4. Select ‘Check in’.
  5. A confirmation will appear on your screen when you’ve successfully checked in.
  6. Check out when you leave a venue for more accurate contact tracing (optional).

The app can remember your details for an even faster and easier check-in next time.

If you don’t have the Service NSW App…

To use the webform:

  1. Hold your phone’s camera over the QR Code.
  2. Select the ‘Webform’ button.
  3. Enter your contact details into the webform.
  4. Add dependents (if applicable).
  5. Select ‘Check in’.
  6. A confirmation will appear on your screen when you’ve successfully checked in.

When you scan the QR code, the only personal information sent to service NSW is your customer ID, the location of the business you are visiting, time and date of your visit. The business will not see or collect this information and it will only be used for contact tracing. We only keep information for 28 days unless required for contact tracing related to a Covid 19 hotspot. Please refer to the collection notice in the app for more information.

COVID Information – we’re COVID Safe!

Camden Golf Club is a registered COVID Safe Venue.  In accordance with advice from NSW Health and in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our members, guests and staff we have implemented the following conditions for entry into Camden Golf Club.

As Greater Sydney faces additional precautionary measures due to the recent outbreak in the Northern Beaches, we have updated our policies and procedures in response to the most recent changes in the Public Health Orders.

In-line with the Public Health Orders issued over the weekend the following rules now apply when visiting the Club:

  • 1 patron per 4 square metres in indoor areas
  • 1 patron per 2 square metres in outdoor areas
  • Reintroduction of capped capacities for each area of the venue
  • Refusal of entry for any person who has visited a known hotspot/ venue as listed on the NSW Health website
  • Patrons in all areas are to be seated
  • No dancing (only permitted for up to 20 members of a bridal party)
  • No singing (by patrons)

Please Note:  Group booking capacities of 30 people still applies for restaurants. We will continue to update this advice as more information becomes available.

In addition to the above the Club has also implemented the following in an effort to help keep our members and guests safe:

  • Compulsory temperature checks for all members, guests and staff upon entry to the Club.
  • Separate Club entry and exit points to ease congestion.
  • Members must swipe their cards upon entering and exiting the Club.  Guests need to provide valid ID (including a mobile number) upon entering and again when exiting the Club.
  • Hand Sanitisers are available throughout the Club and cleaning procedures have been increased in an effort to keep you safe.
  • Patrons are required to remain seated whilst socialising and refrain from mingling with other groups.
  • Refusal of entry for any person who has visited a known hotspot as listed on the NSW Health website.
  • All staff have completed COVID-19 training and COVID Marshalls will be on duty to ensure a safe environment.
  • The Club has received an anti-microbial treatment.  This is a semi-permanent, anti-bacterial and anti-viral coating that safely and continuously kills germs.  This treatment is completely non-toxic, safe for humans and animals and is TGA approved against COVID-19.
  • Please help us to keep you safe by practicing good personal hygiene with regular  hand washing/sanitising, cover your mouth correctly when you cough/sneeze, maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres.
